Students will be required to work in the office on a schedule based on the team’s requirements.   Program Term 12-month position from May 6, 2024 – April 25, 2025   The Role AMD designs and develops cutting-edge compute and graphics processing technologies that are used throughout the world in business, enterprise, and consumer markets. As a co-op on the Verification team, you will support the frontend development of AMD’s products.   What you’ll be doing Implement solutions to improve data collection/visualization and automation Assist with AI technologies that accelerate test debug Support test flows for project development Debug and enhance simulation test cases Review tools to improve simulation performance What you’ll learn You may gain the following experience  Exposure to aspects of verification, including project planning, implementation and tapeout Increase technical abilities in verification and debugging methodologies Problem-Solving Teamwork
Job Requirements:	Key Qualifications 3rd year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline Returning to school following the co-op term Verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Please have knowledge in one or more of the following skills: Languages: Ruby, Perl, Python, C/C++, SQL, Git, Verilog  Familiarity with UNIX Experience with Machine Learning frameworks Knowledge in digital system and computer organization
