The internship experience enables students to participate in professional activities for Veoneer by working on important and innovative projects. Our internships are structured learning experiences where interns and our full-time professionals work together on projects across functional departments. The internship assignments allow students to integrate knowledge and practical experience in manners that are mutually beneficial to the students and Veoneer. What you’ll do Research, develop, and implement custom software/hardware solutions for manufacturing process optimization and standardization Generate, collect, analyze, and report manufacturing data to support plant KPI metrics Maintain and improve existing software applications and databases used for daily operation, utilizing any applicable computer programming languages (e.g. C#, Python, Powershell, etc.) Perform data mining, data analysis, data visualization, and utilize machine learning for automation with software such as PowerBI and R Utilize API calls from different platforms and RPA to perform data queries and commands Support Test Engineers on test equipment launches and improvements Other duties may include: Lead and implement various projects for quality improvements and/or cost reductions Document technical work instructions and provide training to users Perform failure analysis on electronic products using various bench test equipment Participate in failure analysis and problem-solving activities with cross functional teams
Job Requirements:	Qualifications: Electrical / Computer / Software / Mechatronics Engineering discipline preferred Solid programming skills in high level language are required (e.g. C++/C#, Python) Intermediate to advanced level of MS Excel or other data processing applications would an asset Electrical or Electronics troubleshooting experience would be an asset To be considered, students must have a minimum, overall GRADE AVERAGE OF "B"
