We have a Co-op opportunity for a Software Engineer (Application Developer) to deliver and maintain our smartTrade platform, an end to end system that provides FX pricing and distribution via Web, mobile and Java interfaces. The smartTrade platform is built on modern web foundations including HTML5, WebSockets, Angular, Java, and enterprise message bus. You will be an integral member of the development team working in a fast paced environment. TickTrade Systems Inc is an affiliate of smartTrade Technologies, which is a software company specializing in the trading and finance sector. Its clients consist of investment banks, stock exchanges, brokers and pension funds. smartTrade allows real-time IT management of financial flows between these different players. | Job Requirements: | As part of the development team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of software for the platform. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript development in a web application environment. Experience with React/Angular is preferred but not necessary. This is an opportunity also to learn about the FOREX trading and potentially grow with a young company in an exciting industry. | |||||
