Uken is offering an opportunity for a Software Engineer, Services PEY for May 2024 - April 2025. This placement provides a great opportunity for learning while working on real projects alongside talented engineers on live code. You will be working on meaningful things like: -Designing services to handle millions of concurrent players -Enabling fast, reliable and consistent user experience by measuring and optimizing the entire technology stack -State of the art containerized, microservice architectures for gaming backends -Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources -Writing, reviewing and documenting code in various languages and frameworks -Maintaining 2 Million+ TCP sockets and pushing 2 million+ real time messages in 1 second We believe in a fun and meaningful work environment: -You’ll be equipped with a high-end laptop -Competitive PEY compensation -Rich learning experience and mentoring from experienced Software Engineers -Virtual Uken social nights including mixers, game night, and more -Office-based or home-based work options Uken builds games that people everywhere love.
