About Parametric Research Parametric recently completed its pre-seed fundraising round led by Bloccelerate at a valuation of $15M+ USD. We are a small team based in Toronto with past experience from Google, Meta and Nvidia, and VC. About the role You will work directly with the founding team at Parametric to build the core AI assistant for powering financial, business and technical operations in the Web3 industry. You will be able to practice ownership of software services, including technical design, reliability and scalability planning, implementation and maintenance, with guidance from a mentor and the team. We are looking for motivated students eager to learn web and ML/AI technologies through rapid application and experimentation. What You'll Do ● Write product and system development code ● Participate in, or lead design reviews to decide amongst available technologies ● Ensure code best practices through self-review and feedback, including conventions, version control, documentation, unit and e2e testing, accuracy, extensibility, testability and efficiency ● Experiment with emerging web and AI technologies to improve the core product ● Triage product or system issues and manage resolution by analyzing root causes and impact on service operations and quality |

| Job Requirements: |
Minimum Qualifications ● Achievement of 3.8/4.0 cGPA or equivalent ● Demonstrated deep self-exploration of one topic outside of class ● You are self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision ● Experience developing complex systems (e.g. software projects, scientific experiments, organizational structures, team dynamics) with incomplete information under time-pressure ● Have a humble attitude, an eagerness to help your colleagues, and a desire to do whatever it takes to make the team succeed Preferred Qualifications ● Knowledge of generative AI, API design, software development lifecycle ● Experience writing technical documentation, plans or specifications ● Evidence of extraordinary ability |
