The Role:
 
Our QA team here specifically is in a pretty unique situation, we don’t just run test cases on ecobee products, we live and breath them; we get into their psyches and bust them wide open! We find the problems…then SOLVE them!

We are looking for  Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team for the 2023-2024 PEY work term.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Write Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Summary Reports
  • Create test cases for Functionality, Usability, Compatibility, Performance, and Security
  • Design and execution of test cases for the ecobee product line
  • Automate test cases using different tools, including Selenium
  • Improving our test infrastructure by incorporating new technologies
Job Requirements: What You Bring to the Table: 
-Strong coding skills in either Python, Java, or JavaScript 
-You have used Selenium, TestCafe, or similar frameworks 
-Natural sense of curiosity and you DO something about it 
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
-Are interested in participating in discussions about our products with all our internal people 
-You have very strong programming skills and can create applications from scratch with ease 
-Just so you know: successfully matched candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check.
