Visit our web site:  www.kinectrics.com   The Opportunity Department: Project Management Office (PMO) Location: Tiverton, ON   You will be a member of our Engineering Project Management and Controls Team.   The work involves (not limited to): Coordination with team members to refine processes and improve efficiencies through innovative solutions. Working in a team environment to solve multiple challenging problems, create new automated reports, and respond to emergent client request (with oversight from technical specialists). Facilitate effective communication between different branched of the organization. Interfacing with project managers, project controls specialists, planners, design engineers, etc. to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and to a high standard. Data analysis and reporting to find the most efficient solutions to daily problems. With guidance, participating in the development of project management reports, schedules and costing analysis. Typical projects may include: Performing cost and/or schedule analysis reports to assess project health Interfacing with project managers stationed at the client’s site to assist them with project requirements and metrics Track spending and schedule progress Review financial reports that are used in the invoicing and accrual process Working directly on site with clients   Professional Development You will learn about the use of project management and project controls in a fast paced and challenging setting.  You will be given the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions, contributing to the success of our business by undertaking challenging projects with coaching and direction from staff who are highly experienced. Job Requirements:	Job Requirements The following knowledge is essential to perform the job: Sound fundamental knowledge of engineering and/or science principles Strong problem-solving skills and aptitude in project management Excellent written and oral communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Bruce Power Site Access Security Clearance (asset, but not mandatory)   Strong understanding of the following will also be an asset, but not mandatory, to be involved with other high-profile projects and initiatives: Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project Basic understanding of BI tools is helpful but not necessary (QlikView/Power BI)   Discipline(s) Required:            Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Civil or Nuclear Engineering, Engineering Science, Physics, Mathematics, Science, Management/Commerce or equivalent.   Level:  3rd or 4th Year   Duration: 16 months (May 2024 to August 2025); exact Start and End date is negotiable
