The Opportunity Join the Hubdoc Business Intelligence team to support informed company-wide decision making by developing our data strategy and infrastructure. Data Engineers work in agile projects with internal stakeholders and systems to explore large datasets, build data pipelines, develop reports, engage in data collection, create predictive models, drive organizational improvement, and define key metrics for our business.
Job Requirements:	Required Skills - Strong relational database knowledge - Solid analytical and problem solving skills - Strong coding skills and a thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming Recommended Skills - Experience dealing with large datasets and developing data models  - Hands-on experience with NodeJS or Python - Knowledge of ETL jobs and data pipelines  - Experience with software development tools and concepts such as git and data visualization - Some of the key responsibilities and projects within this role will include: - Manage and develop BI infrastructure and data pipelines on systems like AWS - Write and maintain ETL jobs from various sources to our data warehouse - Develop automated tests for ETL jobs and database tables - Work with stakeholders to develop dashboards and reports using BI tools and SQL - Create models that forecast performance - Derive actionable insights from large data sets - Consult with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions Tech stack used:  - Scripting: NodeJS (main), Python;  - Scheduling: Rundeck, Apache Airflow;  - Data storage: AWS RDS(Postgres), Redshift, S3 - BI visualization: Sisense/Periscope - CI/CD: Github, Teamcity
