From 5G to artificial intelligence, from IoT to automotive and extended reality applications, Qualcomm is inventing the technologies of an intelligently connected future.     As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineering Intern you will work as a member of the Edge AI computer HW   architecture team and be responsible for developing and validating performance, power, and other key metrics for next generation SoC Subsystems. These sub-systems address a wide array of applications for signal processing, machine learning, and ultra-low-power processing. Candidates should have an acute interest in both HW design and computer architecture, and an ability to apply SW engineering concepts to model, simulate, debug, and analyze key performance indices of next generation architectures. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate among multiple teams to find solutions, drive analysis, and document findings.    Programming Languages:    C++/C  SystemVerilog  Python  Verilog  SystemC  Shell
Job Requirements:	Minimum Qualification:   Strong analytical skill  Able to solve algorithmic problems independently  Digital hardware design, RTL HDL design (Verilog, VHDL)  Programming and scripting (C/C++, Python)  HW modeling and simulation    Preferred Qualifications:   Computer and processor architectures  Machine learning  DRAM sub-systems, SoC bus fabrics, arbitration, network-on-chip  Digital signal processing  Digital HW CAD tools    Educational Requirements:   In study towards a bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering  Must be available May 2024 - August 2025
