Job Description:
Public Service and Procurement Services (PSPC) is the government's manager and steward of common office space, and provider of real estate services. Project Management and Technical Services team (a part of Real Property Services) works with the client departments throughout every stage of their projects. We help them to identify suitable sites, assemble the most appropriate expertise for their projects and manage their projects through to completion and acceptance. Our project managers are experts in construction technology and knowledgeable in real property contracting procedures, management of consulting services and application of required rules and regulations governing federal real properties. Our project managers are responsible to deliver every stage of design and construction of a variety of Infrastructure new build/renovations projects. Our Program of Work (POW) consists of various scale and size of the projects spread within Ontario. The POW includes the projects related to office buildings to special facilities like Corrections facilities, marinas, harbours, dams and bridges. Essential Qualifications: Education: Third year students currently enrolled in the Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program at University of Toronto.
