Job Description: Overview
AirOps Consulting helps our clients realize their potential with smart database and automation solutions. We use database and automation tools like Airtable and Zapier to create systems to improve our clients’ processes and help grow their business. Our clients include small, medium and large-sized businesses in retail, marketing, real estate, and non-profits. Some of our clients include La Grotta Del Formaggio, Justice At Last, and Riot Games.

We are looking for entrepreneurial students with strong technical skills and great business acumen. Bonus points if you have experience using Airtable and can wear multiple hats. This role will help you develop many skills towards careers in technical, project management, and product management roles. 
We are a small but growing company in an exciting space within technology and are looking for an 12 or 16-month co-op student working toward a technical degree with a focus on data science, computer science, or software engineering. The applicant needs to have excellent technical skills and business acumen, alongside being a self-starter to help execute client-focused database projects, marketing initiatives and sales projects that will help grow the business and build its brand.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Design databases based on client needs
- Configure custom databases within Airtable and other no/low code tools
- Custom scripting in javascript to execute data driven tasks, including but not limited to:
       - Accessing APIs to pull and push data to other software
       - Generate records based on a template for repeatable project,milestone, and task creation, and then link relationships accordingly
       - Determine which records do not meet a custom constraint or validation rule
       - Find and Replace, or Find and Delete
       - Find and combine duplicate records, and create a list of duplicate records using custom logic
       - Working with webhooks to integrate with other tools and platforms
- Implement business automations within Zapier, and Airtable
- Creating custom data processing scripts within Zapier
- Support the team in various data and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with Growth Team to identify, contact, and build relationships with relevant stakeholders in a new market vertical we are exploring
- Support the client team in migrating their data from various other platforms into Airtable
- Support various business development initiatives within the company to help the business grow
- Build our brand equity
 
Job Requirements: Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Working towards a degree in, database management, business technology, software engineering, computer science, or similar programs, bonus if the degree has a business component (such as a minor in commerce/entrepreneurship)
- Proficient in Javascript or can write clear correct code in at least one programming language, and are willing to become effective in others as needed.
- Understanding of relational databases
- Previous experience with Airtable and Zapier (ideal, but not required)
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A lover of technology
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
- Positive, flexible, open-minded approach towards work assignments
- Good interpersonal skills with a natural ability to work with and support colleagues, ability to adapt to and work effectively with clients and co-workers with different styles and levels of technical knowledge
- Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision and work well under pressure
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, debugging skills and proven ability to discern critical from minor problems
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and handle multiple tasks at one time.
