| Job Description: |
Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Apply outstanding analytical and data synthesis skills to test hypotheses and deliver key business insights utilizing both Kijiji and external data sources. Analyses will be both ongoing and project-based in nature. You will take on sophisticated analyses, develop complex models, and synthesize data into meaningful recommendations. Design, develop and support next-gen data delivery, dashboards and visualizations. Partner with end users from across the company - from representatives on the sales floor, product managers, external clients, strategy teams and our executive leadership team. |

| Job Requirements: |
-Comfortable working with large volumes of data and connecting disparate data sources. -Exposure and interest in database querying (i.e. SQL) -Proficiency in 1+ scripting language (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) -Academic profile has an emphasis on quantitative and / or business coursework -Outstanding business judgment and quantitative analytical abilities - identifying the problem, defining a solution approach, collating the data, analyzing the results and synthesizing meaningful insights -Intellectual curiosity, real passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity -Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on judgment -Team-player: eager to build positive and productive relationships with diverse partners and draw upon their skills when needed -Well-developed interpersonal skills and experience distilling and presenting complex quantitative analysis; experience with BI / data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is an asset -Love learning about online commerce and web analytics; experience with Google Analytics is a plus -Have experience with Excel, presentations tools |
