Your Role and Responsibilities This position resides in Markham, ON and is a 16 month work-term commencing in May 2024. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term. This role is for backend software development using Agile practices. You will be developing, integrating, and supporting user requirements for the IBM Sustainability cloud offerings. The responsibilities include feature design, implementation, validation, deployment, and support. Development will involve using frameworks for coding and testing, open-source components and continuous integration and delivery processes.
Job Requirements:	Required Technical and Professional Expertise Software development using Java Web services design and architecture Must be eligible to work 16 months starting in May Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Spring Boot framework for microservices Agile software practices Github source control workflow Registered in a formal co-op/internship program
