Intel is expanding its leading position in graphics for the PC market with high-end discrete graphics solutions for a broad range of computing segments. Billions of users today enjoy computing experiences powered by Intel's leading cores and visual computing IP. We are adding to our portfolio of unmatched capabilities, advancing our strategy to lead in computing and graphics, and ultimately be the driving force of the data revolution. Intel is looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to join the Systems Engineering Validation team, to support automation for our next generation of discrete graphics hardware. You will be working to fully automate the testing, execution, and logging of discrete graphics test cases. This is a 16 month internship position from May 2024-August 2025. Responsibilities - Translation of test plans to command-based scripts for automation - Development of plug-ins for existing automation infrastructure framework - Development of required tools used for validation of discrete graphics cards - Debugging and resolving any automation issues - Testing and executing the developed validation test items - Devising novel approaches for validation of new features by using machine learning and computer vision algorithms |

| Job Requirements: |
Required Qualifications: - Strong programming skills in Python, C / C++, C# - Experience in software version control (Git) - Solid knowledge of distributed systems and remote procedure call frameworks - A strong aptitude in backend development - Experience in application and tool developments - Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, BIOS and GFX driver - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail - Able to excel in an agile and dynamic work environment Ways to stand out above the crowd: - Experience with JFrog Artifactory, GitHub - Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar program management tools - Experience in machine learning and computer vision - Computer enthusiasts and excellent knowledge of current leading PC technology - General knowledge of discrete graphics add-in cards or mobile discrete graphics systems - Familiar with PC x86 architecture and excellent system level knowledge including: CPU processor, memory, PCI-Express, display technologies, and graphics |
