The Analyst for Reliability and Cost Analysis Team is responsible for creating software-based tools, metrics, reports and presentations by using aircraft reliability data, business intelligence systems and aircraft maintenance cost. In this role you will contribute to leveraging data to create value for the internal and external stakeholders.  This will be accomplished through the development, delivery and support of new and existing tools and applications.  Your tasks will include: Build a theoretical model to characterize the reliability performance of the CRJ100/200/700/900/1000; Build a tool (or set of tools) on MHIRJ's Business Intelligence platform (MicroStrategy or Python basis tool) that allows for quick and efficient monitoring of the reliability performance of the CRJ100/200/700/900/1000 products. Make documentation associated with the tool(s) Update annual CRJ expendables DMC analysis by using operator data - with trend analysis comparing previous year's DMC calculations Update heavy-check non-routine findings and aging analysis for CRJ by using service center data   You will develop the following skills: Software Development and Deployment Working in a development team Aircraft Reliability and Cost Analysis     Additional details: Position located at East Mississauga, Ontario – flexible working schedule with expectation to be physically working at the office when required (subject to change while adhering to provincial guidelines for COVID-19)
Job Requirements:	The skills you bring: Are enrolled in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science Know programming languages: Python, R Have knowledge of databases and SQL language (SQL Server, Oracle) Know MS Office suite (particularly Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint) Are an excellent communicator and self-starter. Strong team player. Detail oriented.
