Job Description:	Are you a dynamic person with a passion for programming and a drive for excellence? We are seeking talented and eager interns to join our R&D team. You will be at the forefront of integrated circuit technology, workflow automation, and quality assurance. This internship offers an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our DDR Memory PHY products. If you have a creative mindset and a hunger to learn, we want you on board! This role will be seated in Markham, Ontario, for a duration of 16 months, starting in may 2024. Responsibilities: Python/Software Programming: Collaborate with our experienced hardware design teams to develop Python scripts and software programs for workflow automation. Utilize your coding skills to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency. Quality Assurance (QA): Participate in our DDR PHY quality assurance efforts to ensure that release deliverables meet the highest standards. Conduct meticulous testing, bug tracking, and debugging to guarantee flawless product delivery. Technical Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including code comments, process workflows, and user guides. Maintain comprehensive records of all conclusions to aid team members and future developments. Team Collaboration: Embrace teamwork and open communication, participating in meetings and sharing your insights to achieve collective goals effectively. Job Requirements:	Requirements: 3rd year engineering or computer science student Skilled knowledge in Python programming with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software testing theory Proficient in other scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl and shell scripts Extensive knowledge of LINUX/UNIX commands and environment Experience with version control systems (e.g., Perforce) and code collaboration platforms. Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Motivated, curious, and interested in integrated circuit design process
