The Ministry of Transportation is looking for one energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our administrative team in the Contract Services Office beginning May 2024. This is open to not only students enrolled in a registered co-op program but all post-secondary students. The successful student will help support this office with various tasks and duties and locations. |

| Job Requirements: |
As part of this role, the students will assist with: answering calls from staff and members of the public, taking messages, transferring messages; distributing incoming correspondence and drafting outgoing correspondence (while adhering to Service Quality Standards); organizing meetings, preparing meeting agendas, taking and distributing meeting minutes; financial reconciliations; office filing/archiving; and data entry. Skills required to be successful in the positions include strong organization, sound judgment, demonstrated knowledge of various office software programs and customer service. Well-developed computer skills with the ability to work with MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel spreadsheets is mandatory (knowledge of macro-programming in Excel would be an asset). Knowledge of SharePoint and/or experience with MS Access would be an asset. You will work with a collaborative administrative team to deliver timely and meaningful work to support the ministry's short-term and long-term goals in the Capital Program Delivery Branch.
