About You The ideal candidate will work closely with Scoop’s research and development team on prototyping, testing and implementing a variety of AI-based capabilities (e.g., LLM and Machine Learning) related to the Scoop platform. This position offers unique technical and career development opportunities at the intersection of intelligent automation, AI and climate tech. Responsibilities - Meet with Scoop’s R&D staff to discuss, understand and document project requirements. - Collaborate with the team weekly to discuss progress made, challenges encountered and devise and adjust the development plan - Develop prototype applications to test the feasibility and effectiveness of various approaches - Work with the development team to integrate AI capabilities into the core platform code - Develop and maintain test scripts, technical documentation and training materials related to standard integrations with top cloud-based platforms - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-implementation phases Scoop Robotix Inc. https://www.scoop.solar Team is located in greater Vancouver or Toronto - working remotely from a fixed home office location. | Job Requirements: |
Qualifications and Skills - Enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 2-3 years of coding experience ideally with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby - Familiarity and experience with using LLM, Machine Learning APIs from OpenAI and AWS - Excellent organization, attention to detail and ability to ensure quality and accuracy of work - Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and persistence to find new and innovative solutions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. |
